Happy New Year!

Well here we are again – December 31st – last day of the year; last day of 2022 to be exact. As this day is coming to an end, I’m thinking back on this past year and I thank God! I thank Him because I know all the good things that have happened this past year, and all the years before, are gifts from God!

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17)

I thank God for all the things He’s done, all that He is doing and all that He will do! As a new year is a few hours away, I look forward with anticipation! I look forward to it, because I know God is good. I know that God is in the business of answering prayers because Jesus Himself said…

“You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:13-14)

How amazing is that!? Now obviously that means prayers that are in line with His Will. If you find a promise in the Bible, you can pray for it, and it will be yours. God enjoys doing good things for His children. God enjoys doing things that seem impossible without Him because that way He gets all the glory for it! God is able to exceed our expectations… so think big, dream big, pray bold prayers based on the Word of God!

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! (Ephesians 3:20-21)

As the new year is approaching, I’m ready for it! Are you? Take a step into the new year as a new person. Remember that as Christians we’re called to be different. Can people tell you apart from everyone else? Are you allowing God to transform you? Don’t be like everyone else.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2)

I don’t know about you, but I want to know God’s good and pleasing and perfect will for me! That means I can’t be like everyone else. I will say what I mean and mean what I say. I want all God has planned for me and I don’t want anything to get in the way of that.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

I pray that this coming year, will be filled with health and happiness and all good things for all of us. Praying that 2023 will be our best year yet!
I WELCOME 2023 WITH OPEN ARMS! LET’S DO THIS!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
